Well we only went and got the Legoland Ambassador role for 2016!!!
You would have seen our Legoland application a little while ago, I hoped you liked it, because Legoland did and they picked us! We were picked along with 7 other bloggers to be their ambassadors for 2016, which means we have been invited along to Legoland to have some fun with them through the year. My kids were bursting when they found out, which was lovely to see as they had worked so hard at the application. It was great they were rewarded for their hard work.
Our first event with Legoland was to see the premiere of The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure which opens on 11th March 2016. We were invited along to walk the red carpet with various celebrities and press people.
Armed with our popcorn and 3D glasses, we entered into the cinema to watch the film. However this wasn’t any old film, this film had special features and surprises!
We had snow, water, wind and of course all the 3D pictures coming out at us, the kids love the Lego films but they really love the effects that came with this one. You only have to listen to the kids reactions when watching it to realise how much fun the kids have!
The kids were joined by some fun characters to say hello, Lily was straight in there having a cuddle with them all!
That wasn’t the end of the day either, we had been given VIP tickets to access the park for the day, so we headed off to have some fun.
I love Legoland, it is so kid friendly, the rides are all suitable for all ages, with smaller rides for younger ones but larger ones for the older ones. Tyler is 11 years old and he still loves going here, the dragon rollercoaster still makes him scared (good scared!!)
Although the best part for him was the Lego Star Wars displays, filled with Lego Star Wars figures, moving scenes and the best part…..the new Lego Death Star which has only just been revealed this year. Made with 500,000 pieces, Tyler was blown away!
Legoland also treated us to lunch in the Legoland Brickworks Hotel, this place is amazing, brightly coloured decor, with play areas, easy access buffet area, friendly staff and coffee machines for the adults. They even let you colour in the table cloths and had Lego shaped chips!
Tyler was very impressed by the magician who came to our table and did some close up magic tricks for him. All the staff we met were so friendly and really went that extra mile to make it more special for the children.
They drove cars
and we all laughed a lots when we got wet on the rides!
I created a vlog for you to see how much fun we had at Legoland, it gives you a great look at what we go up to.
*We were invited along to Legoland for the purpose of this post, however all opinions are honest and of my own.
