Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

MORE gardening! I have a BIG project coming up on the blog near the end of the month, and it is taking up all our time. We have a strict deadline, and we have big plans. So the weekends are full of getting lots of work done in the garden. I am missing our walks, and family adventures, but this is life and it can’t always be out and about fun!

Saturday 13th May 2017

Cuddles in the morning with Gus, such a soppy dog and super good with the children.

We are building 2 big raised flower beds……..

Garden fun, it was such a stunning day and lovely to be outside.

Needed a pit stop….bacon sandwiches it is!

It is so nice to get the crafts out for the kids, Lily really loves it and painted her friend a picture!

This project has been planned for ages, so nice to see some bricks going in. Hubby has worked SO hard, I am super proud of him and what he manages when I come up with these ideas!

Everything is getting a new lick of paint, so I am starting off with the climbing frame! How disgusting are those fence panels….not for long!

Anyone else watch Euro Vision?! We did, I loved the Yodeling one!!

Sunday 14th May 2017

Whilst we are busy in the garden, and not getting out on our normal family explores, hubby has been walking the dog, whilst the girls go and do their swimming lessons.

More painting, although this time I managed to get it splatted all over me!!! This is a bad working photo of me!!! but this is normal life, and what I wanted to show!!

The Grandparents came to the rescue, and took the kids out for a few hours. I gave Tyler the job of capturing the picture of the day!!

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.

  1. We watched the Eurovision too and actually quite liked the yodelling one! We’re starting our garden soon and looks like you are making great progress x

  2. What a lovely idea for a post! I love the one of your dog sunbathing… it made me chuckle. I hope the garden renovations are coming along well.

    • We’re on the putting it all back together mode now, hopefully will look great once it is finished.

  3. Oh I really want a bacon sandwich now! I do love Gus he looks like a big cuddly bear. Your garden is really taking shape I bet the kids love the play equipment. In Holland we have a postage stamp of a garden and I do miss my English lawned garden! Tyler did a great job with capturing the time with the grandparents too.
