Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.
Saturday 16th September 2017
We had a busy day today, and I am being rubbish with my pictures currently, I must get my head back in the game with them and capture some more lovely moments of our family life.
Kevs Mum and Auntie came down from Wiltshire today, it was Nana’s birthday so it was lovely to see her. We had Dominos pizza for lunch, and bakery cake!
Gus is going through a bit of a teenager time at the moment, he has to be involved with everyone and everything. Here he is struggle to settle down and not be in someones lap!
I’ve taught him to tug my socks off too, so the kids think it is very funny to have theirs pulled off too!!
Sofia has been waiting for The Worlds Worst Children 2′ book to come into the library. We couldn’t get her head out of the book, and she read the whole book in one day!!
Good day at home to get some Homework done too! Oh I miss the school holidays already!!
I haven’t cooked anything in ages, puddings are my thing. We had some friends coming over for the evening so I picked a quick and easy chocolate pavlova. Typically I forgot to get a cooked photo…sorry! It was meant to look like this
Someone got their nose in the cream from the spoon!!
We got Sofia to take a photo of us….!
Sunday 17th September
I was even worse for picture taking today!! I had been suffering quite a bit of pain from my back again this weekend, so hubby left me in bed whilst he did the swimming run. I only woke up when they came back through the door at 10:45am!!
So popped out to burn some energy off everyone, just local.
Here is hubby and Gus together, Kev can blast the ball so far so Gus loves him doing it as he can run so fast!
This made us laugh, I was sat on the sofa looking out the lounge window when I spotted this bird in the tree. I was sure it was a bird of prey…..got everyone excited trying to guess what it was. Only to zoom in on the picture and it was a plain old pigeon!!
If you don’t already follow me on Instagram I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.

Aww it looks like you had fun baking – can’t beat a bit of mess in the kitchen (or on people’s faces) when cooking! 🙂
I haven’t baked in ages, and I did really enjoy it. It turned out OK! Kids have to lick the spoon when cooking don’t they
How lovely that you got to spend time with your family and you got bakery cake too! Hope your back is better. Thank you for linking up to #PointShoot
They always get us a bakery cake and the kids love being able to pick whatever one they want. Usually the most messy one!!
