Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together. Just a bunch of normal family life pictures!
I am vlogging my weekends too so please take a little watch and feel free to subscribe to my channel to keep up with us.
Saturday 10th February
We had visitors down today, Kevs Mum and his Auntie visited us. This usually involves lots of chilling out chatting and eating very naughty food! First stop bakery!
Then the kids had the day to chill and play with whatever they wanted. The girls are really into their crafts at the moment and are happily getting out new craft sets they got for Christmas. It is so nice to see them doing this without any prompting.
Cosmo the Robot is a big hit in our house. We want to do a full review of him but as he is so complex and can do so much we are giving him a good try out first. Learn everything he can do. The girls were impressing their 78yr old Great Auntie with him and getting him to say her name!
The weather was so bad when we took them back to the train station, so back home to snuggle up in the warm together.
Sunday 11th February
Talking of crafts, after swimming the girls got more crafts out! This time felt strawberries!
It was a stunning day so after our day in yesterday we were ready to get out……only to be greeted by this rain cloud as soon as we left!!! Although in the end we managed to avoid any rain and the place we visited was sunny all the time we were there. We could see the rain in the distance! When we got home it had been hailing!
We took a trip to Danebury Iron Age Hill Fort. Somewhere I had never heard of but it was about 35 minutes away from home.
They were denying Me and Kev access through this gate messing around with us, only for Kev to walk to the left through the massive open access and come out behind them!!!
You were meant to keep your dog on the lead in the hill fort area but they had also provided a open field area for you to let the dogs off the lead in. Gus was super happy to get in there and chase his ball with the kids.
Of course the Kissing Gate!
