Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas together, we have had a nice quiet family Christmas this year. Something I think we needed after a crazy few months. So instead of our weekend in pictures like I normally do, I thought I would pop a Christmas in pictures up.

Being a blogger though does mean you spend a lot of time online, taking photos and social media……I kind of had a little switch off for a few days, so my pictures aren’t fantastic but it was nice to have some free time not thinking about it.

Friday 22nd December

Each year we go up to Kev’s Mums house and do a little Christmas Day with Kev’s Auntie. She is in her 80’s and loves having Christmas Dinner and present giving with us, but not the massive build up with Christmas crazyness! So we have a Christmas Dinner, present exchanging and eat lots of food!!

Kevs Dad isn’t around anymore which is so sad not to have him around to enjoy the fun, but when he was alive he loved snooker! So he built (himself!) a huge room just so he could have a full sized snooker table!!! The kids have been too young really to play on it, but they all are just big enough now!! Tyler really got into it, well his way of playing it!!

Saturday 23rd December

Today we went to do our Santa visit at Longleat, we loved it last year so went back this year to do all the bits we missed! They loved it, and is really such a good day.

Sunday 24th December

Christmas Eve! We traveled back home yesterday evening so that we had all day on Christmas Eve to chill and enjoy. So just finished off cleaning the house and getting ready in the morning.

We love a Christmas Eve walk to burn off the kids excitement, the dogs energy and some fresh air.

We then came home, warmed up, curled up on the sofa and watched a film together. I love this as it does make me feel all Christmassy. The kids then got the bits ready for Father Christmas and off to bed…..

Monday 25th December – Christmas Day

Happy Christmas Day! We had a 5:50am START!!

We always open stockings in our bed, then go downstairs to open Father Christmas presents. We had such a lovely morning and the kids were so lovely and loved everything they got.

Then my parents came over for Christmas Dinner, hubby did amazing with the dinner and it tasted so good.

Evening Gus got presents, and sniffed this big box of biscuits out!!

Mum makes the most amazing trifle!!

Tuesday 26th December – Boxing Day

Love boxing day, it is so nice to get out for some fresh air, burn off some of the Christmas dinner before adding more in! Kids can play with new toys, and we met up with my cousin for a walk in the sunshine.

I got the chance to try out my new crystal ball for photos!

Wednesday 27th December 2017

A run about at Moors Valley Countrypark, hot chocolate and finished off with a board game afternoon.

So that was our Christmas 2017, now I’m ready for 2018!

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.

  1. What a lovely Christmas! All the family essentials: happy children, lovely food, letting off steam outdoors and board games!

  2. Sounds like a lovely Christmas you’ve had with your family, From Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve I can count how many times I have been outside the house 3 though cant tell which days lol

  3. Looks like you had an amazing Christmas. I wanted to take mine to the festival of light at Longleat but sadly they have all been ill
