Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

Just a bunch of normal family life pictures.

Saturday 20th October  2018

Saturday seems to be turning into a bit of a job day, well with a lazy morning to start off with!!

I got on and did some jobs around the house, including carpet cleaned Tylers bedroom with my new Rug Doctor carpet cleaner (review). Look at the difference in this carpet, I only went around the edges with the handheld part, you can see the carpet had white flecks in it now!

Back last Christmas Kev got me tickets to see Wicked at the theatre.  I LOVE musicals and was so looking forward to this!

It was AMAZING! So well done and I was blown away by the singing. Thanks Kev, great choice!

Sunday 21st October  2018

It was another beautiful day today, and as yesterday was a job day we headed out for a walk. We headed to The New Forest again, it’s just stunning this time of the year with the leaves changing and golden ferns.

I had to get a new camera so I upgraded my current one to a couple of models up. So now Kev has one to play with too! Photography is something he’s wanted to get into for ages so now I am hoping he can capture some moments too. Also helps me out when I am creating videos.

This place in The New Forest was stunning, we did a nice circular walk, stopping half way for a picnic! I cannot believe this weather and just how lovely it is and it’s nearly the end of October!

Girls were happy playing with sticks and exploring!

We were on a mushroom hunt though as there were so many out there and all different types.

Gus was in his element, running all around the woods and hills.

The girls really love taking photos too, so I bravely allowed them to have a go!

Lilys shots…..

So another weekend over, but the kids are on half term this week. So let’s see what we get up to!

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram

I also post a daily picture on a separate Instagram account if you want to keep up with what we’re getting up to each day. Then at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.

  1. Oh I would just love to go and see Wicked. I really must get tickets and make the effort to take my oldest, I know he would love it x

  2. I’d love to see Wicked – everyone says how great it is. What a lovely day for an autumn walk – the light is gorgeous at this time of year. Have a good week 🙂 love Bec 🙂

    • It’s so beautiful at this time of the year and we’ve been so lucky to have such a lovely warm weather to go with it too.

  3. I went to see Wicked a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it! Have you read the book too? It’s quite different in places, especially the ending!

  4. What make is your new camera? I love the look of it plus the weather has been lovely lately so I too have been enjoying long walks.

  5. So cool you are both taking photos now and you may get to be in more too 🙂 Love looking at the autumn walk photos, the weather was glorious. We have had such a good autumn here too, I don’t feel like it’s been over in a flash like other years!!

    • So nice to enjoy the warmer weather but changing of the seasons too. Soon be wrapping up cosy!
