Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together. Just a bunch of normal family life pictures.

I’ve decided to start doing my weekend in picture posts again. I was missing out on documenting the lovely little family moments we have over the year together and then regretting not being able to look back.

Saturday 11th May 2019

The kids had a sleepover on Friday night with their best friends for their birthday!

Today was a big day for the girls, it was hair cut day. But not just any old hair cut day, look at the length of their hair…..

Look how much got taken off!!

They both decided they wanted enough cut off their hair so they had enough to donate to The Little Princess Trust so they can make a wig out of their hair for a child who has cancer or lost their hair.

It’s such a lovely thing for them to do and it was all off their own back. This is the second time they have done it, so I am super proud of them.

So we had to pop over and show off their new hair to Grandma and Grandad!

The kids are going to start cooking once a week now, they want to do it as they love cooking but also it gives them an opportunity to start learning some more cooking skills!

Homemade spaghetti carbonara made my Lily and Sofia, it was very yummy!

Sunday 12th May 2019

As they have new hairstyles I have to start learning some more hairstyle ideas! This one looks cute on Lily and keeps it off her face.

Does anyone know if these are seeds on my Acer or leaves?

We need to clear out the garage and get everything into the shed, it’s a massive job and if you saw on my Instagram stories you would have seen how much mess there was in there!!

Sofia thought she would help Daddy out and got all his spanners up on the pegboard in order! I think she will be pretty grumpy with him if he messes it up!!

We’ve worked hard today in the garden, wedding, sorting and of course, it’s good to finish off with ice cream!!

It was so warm Dobby could come out in the sunshine today, we popped a towel over him to keep the wind off. We’re not weird but he is used to 40 degrees in his tank, it wasn’t that hot!!

Finish a day at home with a Sunday roast, yum yum!
