Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.
Just a bunch of normal family life pictures.
Friday 30th March
Happy Easter everyone! Our Weekend in Pictures are starting a day earlier as we went away on holiday with our very good friends over the Easter weekend. It’s something we have done now for 3 years in a row and we really enjoy it. It’s not often you find a set of friends that you can go away with on holiday and you all get on and the kids all get on well too. It’s lovely to make those memories together and we’ve already booked to go back again next year!
I wrote about our holiday at Barncastle last year, so this year it was very nice to be able to relax. I have found my blogging has been sucking away my time recently and I have been putting a lot of work into lots of things behind the scenes too. So I wanted a break, I needed some time to switch off. So I didn’t blog it, vlog it and only took pictures when we were out and about places. Barncastle is so relaxing, you can’t help but switch off!
Saturday 31st March
Last year we ended up on the wrong side of the river when trying to visit Symonds Yat, so this year we weren’t going to make the same mistake! We made it right up to the top and was greeted by a stunning view.
It was pretty cold and the circular walks all seemed to be very long, and the temperature was pretty cold. So we didn’t stay for very long but at least we can now say we have seen it!
We headed off to Beechenhurst Lodge as we had booked the children in to Climbing and Archery.
It’s so relaxing at Barncastle so coming home after a chilly day out and snuggling up on the sofa with this view was pretty nice.
Sunday 1st April – Easter Sunday
Easter Egg hunt in this barn is amazing!!!
We love National Trust properties for the Easter Egg hunt, the places are always so nice to run around and a lovely egg at the end for the children!
So we headed off to Dryham Park National Trust, it looked pretty big and was great to spot some deer too.
These 3 love each other so much!
We went out on their one ranger walk of the day to take a closer look at the deers. The parkland was shut apart from this one walk, so it was very lucky we got close to them.
Monday 2nd April
I don’t want to come home! Why do weekends have to go so quickly.
I feel very lucky to have found a lovely friend who I can do this with, so many lovely memories made
