Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

Just a bunch of normal family life pictures.

Saturday 19th May

We had a lovely day on Saturday, and took a trip to Hatchet Pond in The New Forest. It was the Royal Wedding day so we thought we would have a lovely picnic, dress up and watch the wedding on the laptop. I had checked the coverage for Vodaphone, picked the location based on that and thought that would be fine. Only to get there and no have any signal to stream the wedding! So a Royal Wedding Picnic without the wedding!!!

Lily loved the Lilys!

Look at the concentration at putting the cream on the strawberry!

and how happy to be ready to eat it!!!

These cameras are brilliant, they can go underwater and shock proof. Brilliant for them to start loving taking pictures and enjoying it.

Don’t you love it when a wet dog comes running past you!!!

Home to watch the wedding on catch up!

It was a 70s themed party on Saturday night for us! Here we are dressed up!

Sunday 20th May

Sunday was a pretty boring day for me. I had been filming all day on Saturday for a project so Sunday was the putting together day! I spent the day at the computer whilst everyone else enjoyed the sunshine and being able to chill at home.

The dog loved the tent in the garden!!

Nana was with us this weekend, so a nice ice cream treat!!

But you can never just eat yours alone when you have kids! Look at the other girl waiting to have some too!!

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram

I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.

  1. Looks like you have really been enjoying this lovely weather! Ice creams are a must in the sun. Looks like a fab picnic too!

  2. What a great weekend! We celebrated the Royal Wedding but didn’t leave our house or street and had a party instead while watching the live coverage. The pond looks amazing and it sounded like a lovely picnic x

    • Would have been lovely wouldn’t it, oh well chilled on the sofa with a cup of tea. Very English!!

  3. What a great weekend just a shame about the streaming. Sounds such a good idea about the picnic and looks like you had a great time. Love your 70s dressing up.

  4. Looks like a beautiful weekend! We had our baby shower this weekend but I was so busy I didn’t take a single photo!

    • Oh yes I find that when it’s super busy with something like that, hope you had a lovely day
