Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

Saturday 4th February 2017

We had some visitors today, hubbys Mum and Auntie. They come down on the train to visit us from Wiltshire (about 70 miles away!) so they are quite happy having a chill out at ours and catch with us all. So a lazy day at home, including chatting, Domino’s pizza and lots of treats!

I often find Lily drawing or colouring, and todays picture is her best friends!

Gus loves having fun with the kids, so todays fun involved finding his treat under the egg cups!! Teaches patience, self-control and using his brain to figure out where it is!

We currently have no one living next door to us, and being a semi-detached house I am aware of them and making sure I don’t play my music too loud. So whilst hubby took the visitors back to the train station, I turned my music up SO loud and did some housework. I could sing and dance with no one watching or moaning at me for my terrible moves!

Sunday 5th February 2017

Hubby was busy starting to plaster the girls bedroom during the morning, so we left him to it.

I have been waiting to give Gus a groom, he would be so expensive to groom, I thought I would get myself some scissors and give it go myself! He was very patient with me, and just laid down like this and let me do it.

Look how  much I got off of him, and I didn’t even touch his body!

We headed off out to St Catherines Hill in Winchester for the afternoon. This is only 20 minutes from us, but we have never been there before.

It’s not only the kids that end up climbing the tree!

All the steps down the hill, we took the more difficult route up!!

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.
