When two great brands come together it usually ends up working so well. You get the best of both brands by bringing their ideas together to create some stunning pieces.
So when I saw that the furniture retailer Multiyork and the high-street fashion brand Monsoon have come together for the 3rd year, you just knew it was going to be a stunning range. Multiyork and Monsoon have brought out a beautiful 2017 range of fabrics, with 6 new designs, and up to 42 colourways.
What I loved about this new range was the versatility of the fabrics, you can use these fabrics within the sofas, armchairs or statement cushions like I have.
I picked out the Colby Duck Egg fabric as I loved the blues, greys and a small amount of pink. The colours are soft, but still a good statement against my grey sofa.
I think Multiyork and Monsoon have picked some beautiful fabrics, and I love that they all work so well together. My favourite combination has to be this small sofa below, with Alivia Coral as the main fabric, and the scatter cushions Colby Raspberry Colbra and Dotty Kingfisher which are picking out the colours in the main fabric, but not being afraid to add more pattern. I can just imagine snuggling up in it, reading a book with a hot cup of tea.
Brand Director Kate Tansley shares her thoughts on the 2017 Monsoon Collection
This is Multiyork’s third collaboration with Monsoon and pattern is truly at the heart of this beautiful 2017 collection. The versatility of these prints means they will look equally stylish as a cushion or as a statement-accent armchair. We’re excited to see how our customers will choose to mix and match fabrics from this range.
When I think of these two brands, I also imagine great quality. Both Monsoon and Multiyork have always created fantastic pieces of clothing or furniture. So I wasn’t surprised when I received the scatter cushions, and what great quality they were.
Multiyork also sent me some samples of the new fabrics, and now I wished I had picked 2 fabrics to go together for my cushions. I chickened out, and I wasn’t being brave like they are with their combinations! Lesson to all, just go for it!
As you can see the samples come in so many different colour combinations, but at the same time they’re picking out colours from each other. This is why they can get away with putting different patterns and colours together.
If your thinking of purchasing a new sofa, or armchair then do take a look at the Multiyork as I think you could have great fun bringing all the fabrics together, and coming up with a stunning piece of furniture for your home.
