Today is my son’s birthday, he is 11 years old and I just cannot believe it. Time really is flying by and I am sure he is going to grow up so much over the next few years.
He has now left primary school and is ready to start secondary school in September, I will admit I am a little scared by this!
However I cannot wait for him to start, grow into himself, try new things and start growing into to the little person he will be. Just means he won’t need me so much, well he will do but will need me in other ways I suppose.
Anyway, we had a nice day. We were greeted at 7am to open presents and cards in bed, he was so happy as he got a new mobile phone. He has shown us over the past 6 months that he can be responsible with a phone but the one he had, was a really rubbish one. So he now has a smartphone and now can ‘keep up’ with his friends.
Then we had a special breakfast with waffles, strawberries, cream and sprinkles!
He was a lucky boy and ended up getting £100 in money from family and friends. So we went on a little shopping trip! He chose one of the biggest and noisiest toy in the shop!! Roboreptile from ToysRus £59.99 (at time of writing)
Then had lunch in John Lewis
Home from some computer time (which he loves!) whilst Mum made cake and Dad cooked Lasagne (his choice in dinner!)
This was his choice in cake, banoffee and marshmellows!

As you can see his day revolved around food!!! He was happy!
He had his friend over for a sleepover at the weekend and we are going to CAMP BESTIVAL this weekend so we have lots planned for us and we are super excited!!
