Delivery Of The Origin Hybrid Pro Mattress

When you have a large delivery arriving you want to be kept informed of timings and when they are arriving, making sure you have pets away and the house clear for them. Origin performed well with this, you could pick your delivery day and be kept well informed of when the delivery was arriving. I received a text the morning before letting me know of my 2-hour window by ArrowXL courier which was really helpful as my slot was from 7:15am! Then in the morning, the slot was confirmed and slightly adjusted with timings. I was given a tracking link to keep an eye on my delivery.

I received a phone call from the drivers to let me know they were 10 minutes away from me. When they arrived in a very large lorry it was 2 people carrying this item into my house, I asked them to leave it in my hallway for me. I have the King Size mattress and it’s very heavy. So if you need this carrying upstairs then do ask the drivers to do this for you.

You can see the large of this box against my king-sized bed, but it’s great that the mattress can be delivered like this, great for space saving for delivery and being protected in the box.

How Do I Open The Origin Hybrid Pro Mattress

Make sure your bed is ready to have the new mattress on it, and open the box and lay the rolled-up mattress width ways on your bed.

It comes vacuum packed in plastic packaging and it’s super tightly rolled up, make sure you have this laid out width ways and ready for it to open up.

It has one layer of plastic just around the mattress once, cut this off and get that out of the way. Then you are left with the vacuum-packed layer, you want to very carefully cut this open so that air can then fill up the mattress and the mattress can then open out fully.

It opened out really quickly and you can see straight away how nice this mattress was! They say it takes 48 to 72 hours for the mattress to fully inflate, but is ready to sleep on before that.

The Origin Hybrid Pro Mattress Review After Using The Mattress For 3 Weeks

I have been sleeping with this new mattress for 3 weeks now, it’s given me enough time to adjust to a new mattress and see how myself and my husband slept it in over this time.

My first night I was quite surprised at how firm it was, it was stated on the website as medium firm, but I do think it’s more firm than medium. With not much give or movement at all in it, and when you roll over there isn’t much movement at all, so this is why I would say it’s more firm.

That being said, this is what makes The Origin Hybrid Pro Mattress so good for you. It’s so supportive, gives you great spinal alignment and because of the motion isolation there isn’t any movement, there isn’t any roll about. I don’t even move when my husband rolls over! So at first, I was a little taken back and needed to get used to how firm it was, but I can see now why it is like this and I now love it, and so does my back!

I was really impressed with the pillow top, it’s super soft and fluffy and feels really nice to lay on with no pressure points. It’s like its own mattress topper to all the technical stuff underneath!

I also have found that we’ve been cooler in our bed since sleeping in The Origin Hybrid Pro Mattress, so it’s doing a good job at pulling the heat away from you and keeping the airflow through into the mattress as designed. This is going to be great great for hot sleepers for their temperature regulation, or people who like to snuggle up in bed.

Also, I was reassured that the Origin Hybrid Mattress is anti-dust mite, anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic and made with 100% natural materials with higher hypoallergenic properties, so this is great for people with allergies and asthma, like myself.
