Today we met up with some friends for a very brave (chilly) winters walk along West Wittering beach in,West Sussex.

The weather was freezing but it was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for a walk.

West Wittering beach is a large sandy beach on the south coast, it has toilets, cafe and large car park. The parking charges in the winter are only £2.00 for the whole day, rising to £8 for the whole day in peak season. Make sure you bring change for the machine to open the barriers.

During the off peak season dogs are also welcome on the beach, this was Berkleys first beach walk and I can safely say that he loves it!

West Wittering beach is a great beach for both summer and winter months and I can see myself spending a bit more time there after todays successful visit!
