It’s no place for a 1960′s fireplace

A brick fireplace under renovation, featuring unfinished plaster and exposed bricks, hints at a modern fireplace transformation. Tools rest in the hearth atop a concrete base with a rectangular cut-out, while a patterned carpet surrounds this evolving space.

Well renovation lounge has started!!

Starting with the fireplace…. a 1960′s fireplace just doesn’t fit in with our plans!

So I took the kids to a party whilst hubby got a hammer and chisel and took pleasure in starting dismantle it!
