I have been keeping up with our weekend in pictures for 33 weeks in a row, but where have I have I been the past few weeks? Sorry for not keeping up with them, however you would have been very bored with my selection of photos to be honest each weekend! It mostly involved the view of my lounge, and sofa!

I have been suffering with extreme back pain, which has seen me been stuck on the sofa without being able to go out, or even walk more than 5 minutes without being a huge amount of pain.

I even had a trip in a ambulance to A&E after making a call to 111 for advice. Not the place you want to be on a Saturday night, and don’t get me started on why can’t people be nice to the Nurses and Doctors?

This afternoon I am off to the Doctors as my foot is now being affected, and I am unable to move it in certain ways, so somethings happening to the nerves now. However it gave Tyler a fantastic practical biology lesson on how the spine, and nerves work together!

So I have put together a few photos from our August. We had a fantastic start to August and had our first holiday abroad with the kids. With a trip to Sweden to see my friend, and to see where they have moved to and experience why they love it so much.

After that we headed to Copenhagen city, and I have started to share some of our trips we did on the blog. I took lots of videos to create a vlog, but I haven’t been able to sit at my desktop computer long enough to be able to create them. I will get there!

Then my back peaked, so hubby had to step up to the plate and run the whole house.  Holiday washing, cooking, entertaining the kids, walking the dog and looking after me! So here are some photos of our August, and hopefully soon I will be back with my weekend photos ASAP.

A young girl lies on the floor, cuddling a large, fluffy white dog. Both appear relaxed and comfortable on a wooden floor with soft rugs nearby—a perfect moment for any weekend in pictures or photo diary. A fluffy white dog wearing a harness sits on a sunlit dirt path surrounded by lush green trees and foliage in a forest—perfect for a travel blog or weekend in pictures photo diary. A white dog runs across a grassy field towards a ball, with trees, a goalpost, and a few people in the background under a partly cloudy sky—perfect for a travel blog or weekend in pictures entry. Three children are sitting together on a large round swing at a playground, smiling and enjoying themselves, with green trees and grass in the background—a joyful moment for any weekend in pictures or travel blog. Three children play on wooden structures in a grassy park, each striking playful poses—a perfect weekend in pictures for any travel blog. Tall green trees fill the background, creating a natural, outdoor setting. Two young girls sit at a wooden picnic table outdoors, each enjoying an ice cream cone. Pictures capture their smiles as they savour the treat during a sunny weekend outing, with buildings and other people in the background.

It was also my birthday in August too, I have some lovely friends and family who made it special for me, with lunch and cake made for me, breakfast in bed, flowers delivered and wonderful presents like spa days, and afternoon teas booked! They all know me so well!

A plate with two croissants sits next to a mug of tea and a decorative jug holding a red flower, all arranged on a floral tray—a cosy moment from my weekend in pictures. A white iced birthday cake with Happy Birthday written in red icing, three lit candles, a yellow and orange decoration, and a small green star on top. Perfect for weekend celebrations and capturing memorable photos. The cake is being held by someone.

Of course Gus couldn’t miss is Agility lesson could he, I couldn’t do it at all, so Tyler stepped in to do it. I didn’t think he would love it so much, but he does. He has got so much from it, him and Gus have a fantastic time together. He is super sad not to be able to join in during the school week now.

Oh and we also ended up buying a new car too! My back trouble has always been down my left side, so we decided that the best thing would be to get a automatic car. Hubby has always wanted an automatic, so we finally bit the bullet and got one. So whilst we were changing it, we might as well buy a huge big car that will fit everyone in the future. The kids are only getting bigger!

But the dogs scared of the boot!!! Even though it is bigger, and lower to the floor!

Two children sit in the open boot of a blue car, smiling and holding a yellow ball. A fluffy white dog in a harness stands outside, looking up at them. It’s the perfect scene for weekend travel photos, with a plastic storage box inside the car.

So that’s it,  August over with and back to school now. I feel terribly guilty that the kids had such a rubbish 2nd half to their summer holidays. I am just glad we got our wonderful family holiday in before it all went wrong!

Two schoolgirls in purple jackets and skirts, carrying colourful rucksacks, walk down a wet pavement in a residential neighbourhood—a charming moment for any weekend in pictures or photo diary. Houses and a white car linger in the background.

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.
