Currently most of us are at home for the foreseeable future, with all the time spent at home, your décor can soon wear on you and a lack of activities to do may give you a bit of cabin fever, so today we’ll be sorting both if those issues, updating your home’s décor and giving you something to do with your time.

So today we’ll be looking at a few easy to do DIY projects that you can do at home without needing to leave the house or get a helping hand from a friend, so let’s get into it.

New Set Of Blinds

Now, when it comes to big changes, you’re a bit limited, getting new furniture is probably a ‘no-no’ at the moment as you don’t want delivery men to have to carry furniture around your house, but if you want a big change we think blinds are the biggest change you can make to a room for now.

You can get made to measure blinds easily online which are delivered to your home, we’d recommend going with some new venetian blinds to give a room a rustic look. But blinds ordered online are always easy to measure for and come with easy to follow instructions on how to assemble them.

Arts And Crafts for Decorations

This project is great if you have kids in the house, they can be hard to handle with nothing for them to do, but if you get some arts and crafts supplies from Amazon you can make little projects for you and your kids to do, you just need to find the supplies then spend a day or so making home decorations.

With paints and canvases, you can make art pieces to hang around the house, if you get some knitting supplies you can fashion a new throw for your sofa, the possibilities are endless for what you can do. Then whatever you end up with, you’ll have something which will remind you of your family at this time and give you sentimental value to items for years ahead in the future.

Repaint A Room

Another big change you can make at home is simply repainting a room, you can easily get paint delivered online, so find a colour you like and order it in, then work out what room you want to give a paint job or if you have some spare paint from the last time you decorated, maybe choose a single wall for you to repaint.

Once you’ve found what area you want to paint, clear out the area of anything you don’t want paint spilt on, lay down a sheet on the floor so you don’t get paint stains on your carpets and then go to town with you painting.
