Happy 1st November everyone! However I am not sure it feels like November today, it was warmer out there then it was at any point during October!
We popped out to Lee-On-The-Solent today, I really fancied a beach walk and some well needed fresh air. My head is so fuzzy at the moment I thought the fresh sea air would make me feel a bit better.
We headed off all togged up ready for the cold breeze, how wrong were we, the kids got their jumpers and coats off as quickly as possible and enjoyed running around on the beach.
I have never played around with silhouette pictures before but as I turned around to snap them playing at the water’s edge I spotted what a beautiful picture it makes. I think I might be having a go properly at them again, maybe try to get November’s Me and Mine family photo.
I do love having the beach not far from us, there is something very peaceful about having a walk along the beach front. I love how the kids are free to explore and enjoy such simple pleasures as throwing stones into the water.

Ok so I’m toying between sand in faces and someone knee deep in water for the what happened next bit, do tell! Like you I love being near the sea and would hate to think I couldn’t reach it for an afternoon walk. the weather has been wonderful for beach visits this past month. If you look closely at the bottom photo you will see my son had a hand full of stones over my daughters head…..yep all over her and cold stones down her top! Didn’t go down to well with her! Even though she did it to herself too! Thank you for your lovely comment about my photo.

Sand fight?
These photos are just gorgeous!! I have seen a few people take their kids to the beach last month. I need to take mine since we haven’t been this year! x
The weather wasn’t great for proper beach days out during the summer was it. However I do love wrapping up and popping down the beach, I love the fresh air in my lungs! It was handfulls of stones drop over her head!
