Whilst hubby was on his holidays we wanted to take a day out, an attraction near by and somewhere different.

Thanks to Whats Good To Do and their guide to what attractions are near us we decided we would take our day out to Drusillas Park.

This months Center Parcs challenge with Tots100 is all about our summer days out.

I was inspired by Steph Tilley tips on the Centre Parcs blog

‘One of my favorite ways to log memories is through video, video captures a special moments as it happens’

I love taking photos but have only just started to take more videos. Now I have started I won’t stop! I love capturing moments on video and looking back at those memories. They just give you a little more than a picture can. I have created a video of our day out which includes pictures and videos.

One of my favourite ways to log a memory is through video. Video captures a special moment as it happens – perhaps you want to remember the look on mum’s face as she flies down a zip wire, or the moment your little ones ride their bike for the very first time. – See more at: http://blog.centerparcs.co.uk/family-blogger-aug-challenge/#sthash.oiZ4j7pw.dpuf

This post isn’t a review post but I wanted to give a little overview of our day out and to show you through pictures and video what a fab day out we had.

It was very easy to find and signed posted from the main road, car parking was easy and close to the entrance.

Kids receive a little book which is filled with different animals they need to try to find, they then get their little book stamped. This went down really well with my kids and they couldn’t wait to find the animals and stampers!

There were hands on things to do, so many of the animals were really close which is so important in a children’s zoo.

Children get very bored if they have to keep looking really hard to spot an animal blob across the field!

The best bit for me was being able to go in a feed the rainbow lorikeets and walk through with the Lemurs.

I was really impressed with Drusillas Park, it had so much to do. Zoo, animals, large play parks, splash pool, rides and interactive areas.

If you need a day out in East Sussex then please do consider Drusillas, I think your kids will love it!

Take a look at my video which has a selection of our photos and videos from our day out.

This place looks like so much fun! I’ve never heard of it but it’s definitely now on the list of places to visit on our regular weekend drive-out. It’s one of our favourite pastimes just jumping in the car and driving away from London to discover new places at the weekends. Although I moved to the UK since 2001, I’m like the perpetual tourist here. There’s just so much to see and do! 🙂

  3. This park looks a lot of fun. I love the idea of having a book stamped with the animals they can see along the way. I’ve never been but it looks a great day out with the family.
