As I am writing this the sun is shining and the kids are playing in the garden after school. I love the freedom that the summer gives you and the fun things you get out and do.

We have recently got back from holidaying in Devon, we managed to get some lovely days out in the sunshine. The kids have loved having picnics and all that tasty picnic food! Why do they eat so much more on a picnic?!

Plain old picnic blankets are a thing of the past, this year we are the ‘cool family’ in the park! Every child wants to join us for a picnic!

Not because we have tasty food but because we have a Eggnogg colour-in picnic blanket!

Eggnogg colour-in picnic blanket is a good size picnic blanket, measuring at 145x145cm we can comfortably sit 5 of us on the picnic blanket.

The idea of the Eggnogg colour-in picnic blanket is that you can take it out with you on your picnics and the kids have some entertainment as well. The whole picnic blanket is covered in black and white drawings that you can colour, write on and just be creative.

My kids loved this colour-in picnic blanket from the moment it turned up, we took it on holiday with us to various places, beaches, RHS gardens and even used it at home on wet days.

It is lovely to watch the children colouring together, chatting together and being creative.

The great thing about the Eggnogg colour-in picnic blanket is that you can just pop it in your washing machine and it comes out like new again! It is supplied with 6 different coloured washable pens to use, which you can purchase replacement ones from Eggnogg.

This is a lovely quality item that the kids love, however adults also love it too. I have really enjoyed sitting with the kids colouring with them, there is something very relaxing about colouring.

The kids love the fact that it is so large, they don’t normally get such a large canvas to colour.

You can purchase from Eggnogg for ยฃ34.99 + postage which is more than a normal picnic blanket however this is not your normal picnic blanket and provides great entertainment.

I have created a video for you to see us using the Eggnogg colour-in picnic blanket on our holiday and how much everyone loved it.

* We were sent the Eggnogg Colour-in picnic blanket for the purpose of this review. However all words are honest and of my own.

  3. Mummy & Bean Reply

I love this idea! Bean’s not old enough for this yet, but that doesn’t mean mummy can’t have a go! #TriedTested

  4. Wow this looks awesome! T2 is obsessed with colouring at the moment (he can literally spend hours doing it!) so I might have to look into getting him one of these.
