Who has been to a festival this year already? Or have one planned over the summer holidays? We are off to Camp Bestival for a day trip this year and we cannot wait!

It’s such a fun family day out with so much to see and do, but it also can get quite expensive if you want to do all the things on offer. One of the things me and Lily loved doing was tattoos!

A collage from a day visit to Camp Bestival 2016 shows women and girls at an outdoor festival: one girl has her hand painted, a woman gets glitter on her face, and two people smile for a selfie—one with glitter make-up, the other with a henna tattoo. So when FabLab got in contact with us and asked us to try out the FabLab Festival Face Tattoo Kit I knew it would be perfect for our trip to Camp Bestival this year! At only £12.99 and over 12 tattoos this will save us a lot of money.

A colourful box of Fab Lab Festival Face Tattoos featuring photos of children with decorated faces, a large butterfly illustration, and text highlighting over 12 unique Face Tattoo designs plus easy application and removal.

The girls were so excited to get this unboxed and start applying them! Check out their unboxing video on YouTube so see the full application process and what they thought of them.

FabLab Festival Face Tattoos

We have kept the big face ones to be able to wear for Camp Bestival but we tried the smaller ones on our faces instead. There are so many of the little ones so the girls were in their element picking which one to play with!

A sheet of colourful glitter stickers, perfect for the Fab Lab Festival, featuring fairies, butterflies, stars, flowers, and a dolphin on a wooden surface—great for crafts and face transfers.

The pack came with lots of smaller ones, larger ones that will be a full face.

A sheet of paper displays pastel-coloured, symmetrical wing and mermaid designs, ideal for crafting or Face Tattoos, placed on a wooden surface—perfect inspiration from the Fab Lab Festival.

The application process is so easy to do. We did it together at first, however the girls quickly took over and applied them to each other.

Two young girls sit on woven chairs at the Fab Lab Festival; one wipes make-up from the other’s face with a white sponge. Both have brown hair in ponytails and wear floral summer dresses, while one shows off colourful face tattoos.

They wore them all day long and they stayed on well. The pack comes with an oil to use for removal which worked well at getting it off at the end of the day.

Two young girls with brown hair stand outside in front of green foliage at the Fab Lab Festival. Both wear blue and white striped dresses with floral patterns and colourful face transfers. One girl has a purple dolphin sticker on her arm.

Look out for our images on social media on our day visit to Camp Bestival as they are going to look fab!

Two young girls with brown hair in ponytails stand facing each other outdoors, smiling with colourful festival tattoos on their faces. Wearing patterned, sleeveless dresses, they enjoy the Fab Lab Festival amid green leaves in the background.

These would make a great gift too and I know the girls would happily give this to their friends too. FabLab make some fantastic kits
