This year T’s school announced they were joining in with World Book Day and that the kids could join in and dress up as a character from a book. This is the first time the junior school have done this, T never use to like dressing up but he was keen to do so this year.
Now the task that some of the Mum’s hate!
I think the boys outfits are harder to do than the girls, luckily the twins school wasn’t dressing up this year so I only had T’s outfit to sort out!
In the end T chose the boy from Diary of a Wimpy Kid costume.
This actually was quite easy to achieve!
What you need:
- Black shorts
- Long white sleeved top
- Long white socks
- Black shows (school shoes)
- Black paint
- White paint
- Lolly stick
- Coloured paper for diary
- Back pack
All you need to do is cut out your head with hair sticking up, paint it white. Then paint on his face and hair with black paint. Glue on your lolly stick for them to hold the mask.
Cut out a cardboard book shape, print out the diary picture onto a piece of colour paper and glue on.
There your Diary of a Wimpy Kid costume is done!
