Christmas 2022 I didn’t want to get all the items down from the loft and have them all over the place, and unorganised. So I decided to purchase some Christmas storage items this year. This way I could pack away the items in a neat and organised way.

Here are 4 great Christmas storage ideas that I think you will love too and will keep your Christmas items neat, dust-free and all in one place.

Christmas Wreath and Garland Bags

We’ve only put ours in a black bag, but these degrade in the loft and rip very easily. So by purchasing these wreath and garland bags, it allows them to be folded up nicely. They don’t get bent or shaped in an unusual way. They have easy to hold handles to carry, with strong zips and dust-proof material.

A red, crumpled gift bag lies under a decorated Christmas tree with gold baubles, snowflake decorations, and warm white fairy lights—a perfect scene to inspire your Christmas organisation or holiday storage plans. The tree sits on a beige carpet.

It comes as a 75cm diameter circle, so you can loop the garland around nicely, or place the wreath into it directly.

A festive holiday wreath with pinecones, red berries, checked ribbon, and green pine needles sits on a red background—perfect inspiration for Christmas organisation or creative holiday storage ideas.

I have purchased a few new garlands this year, so tried to see if I could place more than one in each bag, and you can no problem, this one has two in.

A red bag filled with artificial garlands made of green leaves, pine cones, and faux berries, with branches and greenery arranged inside—a perfect holiday storage solution for your Christmas organisation needs.

They’re even deep enough to add my table one in, and our table wreath. Each has a label on it, so you know which one is which next year!

Christmas Wrapping Paper Storage Bag

We have never had a proper storage bag for the Christmas wrapping paper, just chuck it upright into a tub which is never good for the wrapping, and the labels have been everywhere. This Christmas wrapping paper storage bag allows you to lay flat the wrapping tubes, and strap them in. We didn’t have too many leftovers this year, but the description says you could fill this up with 18-24 rolls!

A red and green storage bag offers clever Christmas organisation, holding rolls of wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, tape, and gift tags in transparent compartments secured with red straps on a wooden floor.

Also, I liked the pockets where you could place bags, labels, cards, and tape into. It could have done with a zipping section on this though to stop them all falling out.

Christmas Bauble Storage Box

I already had one of these, but I purchased another one as this is such a handy little Christmas storage bauble box to safely hold your Christmas Baubles in.

A storage box with dividers holds gold Christmas baubles, showcasing smart Christmas organisation. It sits on a carpet under a decorated and lit tree with gold and white baubles and snowflake ornaments.

With cardboard sections in you can create areas to place each bauble into. Big or small, and I have made some layers have larger sections to fit different shaped baubles into.

A storage box with compartments holds various Christmas decorations, including clear glass baubles, a disco ball, glittery rings, a snowflake, and a bauble with a tiny tree inside—perfect for holiday organisation.

These can all be safely packed away, with hardly any movement to them, I’ve never had any broke using this Christmas storage bauble box.

A translucent storage box with a red zip and handle, partially open, sits on a worktop—perfect for holiday organisation. Baubles and festive Christmas decorations are visible inside the box.

Christmas Lights Storage

This one I really was looking forward to having. This year we got in a bit of a pickle about the lights, and ended up thinking we didn’t have some lights for our tree……so ended up purchasing some more, when in fact we did have them…..just in another box somewhere else!

So this Christmas lights storage box allows you to place multiple lights in one box, labeled up and wrapped well ready to unravel next year easily.

A string of white bulb fairy lights with black wire is neatly packed inside an open, red-edged box placed on a white surface. The inside of the lid reads "Berry Tree Lights," offering clever Christmas storage ideas for holiday organisation.

It comes with 3 light cards, which is about right once you’ve wrapped them all up and some sets are quite long.

Christmas Storage Ideas

I hope you liked my suggestions for some Christmas storage ideas, we also have some large plastic boxes that seal up well where we place our ornaments and other Christmas items. Our Christmas trees have their own Christmas tree storage bags as well. I can’t wait to feel super organised next year when we get all this out of the loft again!
