Hotel Chocolat review for Mothers Day Hand Cream

When I received an e-mail from a my friend who blogs at Tales Of A Twin Mum she brightened up my day! She had received a beautiful gift from Hotel Chocolat and was asked to nominate someone to receive a surprise gift as well. I have known Karen since we first met at our local twin club when she was pregnant with her twin boys. She has given me so much advice over the years and even when she is super busy she always makes time to reply and offer her advice and support. I was really looking forward to my surprise gift to arrive!

Well I wasn’t disappointed when it did arrive from Hotel Chocolat! The packaging was something special, everything looked like a lot of time and effort had been put into packaging it up. I didn’t want to open it and ruin all the effort that had gone into it!

BUT that would mean I couldn’t see what was inside and I was bursting to open it up!! It was neatly wrapped up in tissue paper and boxed in a really classic coordinating white box.

I received the Cocoa Juvenate Hand Cream as my gift. As soon as I opened the box the smell of the hand cream hit you, it is such a lovely smell.  It looked very posh but at £19 a tube for 100ml you would expect something special. This would make a wonderful gift for someone, it is the type of present that you can give to someone who would never purchase themselves something as special as this.

Hint Hint : It would make a perfect Mothers day gift for a lovely mummy. You can add their chocolates to the order too!

I have been applying the hand cream on at nighttime and it is so smooth, silky and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t leave your hands sticky but feeling nourished.

My nomination of another blogger to receive a gift

I was able to send another blogger a gift from Hotel Chocolat, I would like to send Fiona from Coombe Mill a gift, I don’t know her well but I read her blog often and I am in awe of her a her family! She runs her own family friendly holiday farm in Cornwall. I love everything she does, I love the life she has built for her family and her blog posts are so interesting. I think she deserves a treat for all her hard work. So I have chosen the hand cream that I received as a gift to send, I am sure her hard-working hands deserve a bit of luxury!
