Last year I focused all my Christmas efforts on our Christmas home which I was really pleased with and it felt very Christmassy.

Silver and White Christmas

When we moved into this house replacing the front door was the first job on the list. Composite Front Doors are really safe and make the front of your house look very tidy.

Normally my front door looks very neglected over Christmas, so this year  I wanted to give the front a little bit of Christmas love! At the end of the day, it’s the first thing you’re greeted by, and it’s lovely to come home to when coming back from a day out.

A black Christmas front door with a wreath and gold letterbox is flanked by white-framed windows. A red holiday doormat and a potted plant with festive Christmas decorations create a warm Christmas welcome.

I took a trip to Homesense which is a perfect shop for Christmas home items, I have never had a failed trip to that store to find what I need for a home project.

A festive Christmas front door doormat featuring Father Christmas, North Pole, and Santa’s Grotto greets guests. Nearby, a planter with a snowflake design and a “Merry Christmas to All” sign complete this cheerful Christmas welcome.

Last year I picked up the beautiful wreath, it is so thick and of such a great quality. There are currently loads in the store to choose from, whatever style you are looking for. We added the silver heart, as it’s made from little bells to make a jingle each time we open the door!

A festive Christmas wreath with pine branches, pinecones, red berries, tartan ribbon, and a silver heart ornament creates a warm Christmas welcome on the front door with decorative glass panes.

The large plant pot is permanently by the front door to give a splash of colour and brighten up the front door. Throughout the year I change it to suit the season so now it’s winter it’s time for a change. I spotted this bush in the garden centre, with the little red berries on and dark leaves it’s perfect for a Christmas front door.

A potted plant with red baubles and a snowflake ornament sits by a black Christmas front door. A red doormat and a red sign reading "Merry Christmas to All" complete the festive Christmas decor on the doorstep.

To brighten it up and make it even more Christmassy I added a string of red bells, and some little lights. It looks so cute outside the front door all lit up!

A Christmas front door with a festive wreath stands beside a brick wall. A decorated potted plant sits next to the red doormat, whilst a small "Merry Christmas" sign adds cheerful holiday spirit to the entrance.

I even found a Christmas front door mat to place outside! I love the splash of red, and a lovely welcome into the home. The kids think it’s great fun! Also a little wooden welcome sign outside too.

A red doormat designed like a letter, with white text reading Father Christmas, Father Christmas’ Grotto, North Pole, SAN TA1, postage stamp, and SLEIGH MAIL mark. Perfect for a Christmas Front Door to offer a festive Christmas Welcome. Two black shoes are visible at the bottom.

I love how cheery the front door looks now, roll on Christmas! Do you decorate your front door?

*I was given a voucher to spend at Homesense for the purpose of this review. However all opinions are honest and of my own.
