Now that I have finished the twins girls bedroom I am able to start to enjoy adding lots of lovely girly pretty things!
I love the girls desk area, I am setting this up for them as a workable area but also as a dressing table.
I have added some Ikea Krabb mirrors along the desk width to give them a mirror but also to bounce more light around the room.
When I saw that Blaze On wanted some bloggers to review their beautiful fairy lights I knew a perfect place for them!
Blaze on fairy lights are not just for Christmas, although they do have some lovely wicker stars that would look lovely on a Christmas tree.
Blaze On are an ethical company who are based in Britain but work very closely with home based families in Thailand and try to purchase Fair Trade and ethically sourced items, wherever possible and practical.
After having a good look around I decided that the Magical Butterfly in pink tones fairy lights would look great around their mirror.
When they arrived, they came beautifully packaged and looked wonderful.
I love the fact that they are handmade, they are made from sheer pink fabric and decorated with clear beads and shimmering sequins so that they sparkle with the light. I couldn’t wait to get them plugged in!
You can see the detail of each butterfly well in these following photos.
I like the clear string, it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb and because the butterfly’s are just so beautiful they draw your eye away from the string anyway. The overall length of the light string is 5 meters or 16’ 4” which gave me just enough to go around the mirrors but not quite meeting in the middle but I think it works well.
The LED string has a life expectancy up to 10 yrs (100,000 hrs) which is fantastic, even if my girls grow out of them before then I would happily have them in my bedroom!
The LED lights give off a warm white colour, which is so soft and subtle. It hasn’t got that bright in your face light but just soft, when the room is dark it is so cosy and warm.

I love the fact that they are extremely energy-efficient, Eco-friendly and no heat to them.
I don’t need to worry about them touching the bulbs and hurting themselves.

I really do love these lights and I think they really finish off their desk area so nicely.
My twin girls also love their Blaze On fairy lights, my only problem now is my son now wants a set for his room! Not butterfly’s though!! He loved the Ambient Balls which would suit so many rooms for grown up’s or children.
