This weekend we popped along to Chilling beach near Warsash to have a run about and get some fresh air. It was a really windy day, but beautiful sunshine too, good day to blow the cobwebs away!

Getting outside is a big part of our lives, fresh air and sunshine for the children is so important, and plays a big part in making sure the children get enough vitamin D. Vitamin D is an important mineral which helps you absorb calcium, and keep your bones, teeth and muscles healthy.

The guys at Frubes asked us to show off my kids dance moves, we took a look at the dance off that was on the Angry Birds Frubes Moves website, and I am sure they picked up some funky ideas from there! Go and have a look and see which team your kids cheer on, Angry Birds or mischievous pigs.

I asked my kids to show me some funky moves, and this is what we got……

I think they were ‘freestyle’ moves! As we even had walking backwards!!

Frubes are a great portable yogurt, that fit great in lunchboxes or out for a picnic. We took ours out with us to the beach as a snack along the way. Even Gus the puppy liked the smell of them!!

He must of heard that you need to take care of your young bones, and make sure you get enough calcium and vitamin d! I didn’t know but about 90% of your childs lifetime bonemass is set by the age of 18, and as they cannot make calcium,  you must make sure they get it through their diet.

Frubes is also running a egg-citing on-pack promotion until 31st October, offering families the chance to flock to the Bahamas for a fun-filled island holiday. With a weekly draw to win a host of Angry Birds Movie merchandise. Pick up the Angry Birds special packs from your local supermarket, RRP £9.

Chilling beach was a nice place to stretch our legs, top up our vitamin d levels and a quick snack. Just be aware of the falling banks!

  1. I do love a good beach and there’s something fun and special about them in colder weather. It’s lovely to wrap up warm and go for a stroll along the beach in the autumn. We’re big fans of frubes in this house too 🙂 x

  2. I love the beach at all times of year – the space and fresh air is so invigorating! My kids are big Frubes fans too, they’re so handy.

  3. I have wanted to take the girls to the beach this autumn but our closest beach is over 2 hours away. Now it is the half term, we might just do that. A lovely autumn day on the beach 🙂
