I am so excited for this years summer! The warmer weather, lighter evenings and spending time with hubby, family and friends in the garden.

When we moved to our house the garden looked like this……

I was really excited to create a nice garden for the children to play in so concentrated on making a space for them, they love their garden. After A LOT of hard work by us it now looks like this……….

So don’t you think that now we deserve a bit more of a grown up space? Somewhere where we can sit in the garden and relax, have friends over and chat the evening away.

I do!!

ย Debenhams are giving the chance for bloggers to create a moodboard of their favorite garden items to be in with a chance of winning a garden party bundle, I had to enter!

So below is my moodboard of items that I love, I want to inject a shot of colour into the garden so I have chosen colourful plates and cups with a bright co-coordinating parasol. As I want to use the garden throughout the evening as well I needed some modern lighting to add to the patio area. The table is large enough to have friends over and fit us all around the table for family dining. To eat at the table we need a BBQ of course! Although I hate waiting for the coals to heat up so I have picked a gas one, patience has never been my forte! I need to be warm so have added a chimenea to burn next to me. It is the same for every room in the house, you need storage, so a great storage box to store seat cushions ect.

I hope you like my suggestions, bring on the summer!
