Christmas is a great time to treat your friends and family with something they would love, and something they would never buy themselves. Take a look at a few gift ideas I have put together this year for my Home Tech Christmas Gift Guide, bringing some new ideas to my home, and sharing some well-loved ones I’ve been using for a while.
Have a wonderful Christmas this year, and have lots of fun and make special memories.
Hoover H-Handy 700 – Hoover £119
This handy little handheld vacuum cleaner from Hoover is called the H-Hoover 700 and is fantastic for keeping on the side ready to grab when you need to just clean up those crumbs, or the kid’s spillages left on the side and floor. I have loved having it on the side ready to go as it sits in its charging port ready to use, but once charged it has up to 12 minutes run time which is plenty of time to give the sides a quick clean up.
With the 3 in 1 tool, you can use the H-Handy 700 for hard-to-reach areas, a dusting brush to give a quick dust around and the furniture nozzle for cleaning upholstery. Which is brilliant for cleaning out the car, and all the nooks and crannies. It’s also super lightweight at only 640 grams. I have been super pleased with this product, and I can see it coming in handy very often!
Tile Tracker Performance Pack – Tile – £58.99
Are you always losing your keys or wallet? If the answer to this is YES then you need to think about getting a Tile Bluetooth tracker! You can attach the small Tile to your keyring, and it will track them for you. So if you can’t find them, then you use the app on your smart device. Use the free Tile app on both iOS and Android devices, but also the Tile also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri.
When activated the Tile will ring, alerting you to where your item is, and within the app, you will see the proximity meter’s green rings fill in as you get closer to them. Meaning less time running around fining your items! If you’re losing your phone, you can double press the tile button and it will ring your phone even when it’s on silent to help you find it.
With the performance pack, you also get a card-shaped Bluetooth tracker, which would fit nicely in your wallet, or bag. These items are both Water-Resistant (IP67 rated), have up to 3-year non-replaceable battery, and up to 250 ft / 76 m Bluetooth range. If your items are out of range, it will track to when they were last without you and when the last location was updated to help you go back and find them.
VEX Gift Gard – Voucher Express – Various Prices
Gift cards are a fantastic gift to give at Christmas, but it’s always hard to know if you’re buying the right gift card for someone or not. So why not get them a VEX Gift Card which allows you to load them with as much money as you want from £10-£250 and then once the recipient converts the gift card, they can pick which retailer they want. There were so many to pick from, but for this Tech Home gift guide, I picked Currys as I know we can pick up a great tech gift there.
But there were many well know high street retailers to pick from, over 150 retailers! You just log onto the website and enter the VEX gift card code, then you pick from the retailer you want, and you can have them either sent by email or post. Then just enter the gift card code online, or produce in-store.
I think I will do this in the future when gifting gift cards, as it gives the recipient much more flexibility on where to spend their gift.
Nixie Clock – Etsy– £Various
This is such a cool gift, and one my husband had been after for a long time. A Nixie clock, I’ve not heard of them before but they are a cool way to display the time and look really funky when they change the time. Each tube has a number 1-9 and it circles through each layer and displays each number one at a time. The setup inside makes the number glow brightly and a very unusual way of displaying the time, and a perfect gift for someone.
Air Diffuser – Amazon – £various
Samsung Wireless Charger – Amazon – £35
As our phones are getting more and more like a computer, they have to do much more during the day, and sometimes the battery life doesn’t last all day. This Samsung wireless charger is great for popping in your bag and being able to charge your phone when you are not near and plug socket, or don’t want to carry cables around. I also have it next to me when I am working at my computer, as I can then just pop my phone down on here to give it a bit of charge whilst working.
With a charge capacity of 10,000 mAH, it really holds a lot of charge and will give you many hours of charging time. It also can be safely charged in 220 minutes and has an overvoltage with OVP.
Logitech Ergonomic Keyboard – Amazon – £109
Yes, this looks like a very strange keyboard, but it’s brilliant for a well-supported wrist and typing hand position. I often get sore wrists when I’m working, but this Logitech ERGO K860 creates a well-postioned typing hand, with wrist support and spilt keys to make you type in a more natural position. The keys are slightly dipped to match your fingertips, and I have found it really comfortable to use. It does take a while to get used to, but once you do it really does help with muscle strain.
Philips Hue Smart Lights – Amazon – £various
We love Philips Hue lights, we have them throughout our house. Now the kids would like them in their bedrooms, so these would make a great gift for your kids and yourself. They are much more expensive than a normal lightbulb, so these are a great gift. You can turn your bedroom lighting into whatever colour you want with the Philips Hue lightbulbs, and with the Philips Hue light strip, you could have them wrapped around the ceiling, under cabinets, or under desks.
Hive Smart Heating – Amazon – £149
With the rising heating costs this year, why not treat someone to a Hive smart home heating thermostat. This allows you to take control of your home heating and keep consistent heat throughout the house. Not heating up the home when it’s not needed, or making sure the heating stays on a schedule. This will all save you money and give you more control of your heating.
Pinter 2 – Home Brewed Fresh Beer from £149 – Pinter
The Pinter 2 is a world-first precosopm0engineered technology to enjoy 10 pints of award-winning fresh beer at home, which is brewed by you. Having fresh beer straight from the fridge means you can enjoy one of the nicest beers without any delivery, time delays, and you get to enjoy it just when it’s finished conditioning when it’s at its freshest.
The beer arrives without any water, so reducing the weight by 75% and one single pack of Pinter pack replaces 17 bottles or cans, so you aren’t contributing to the waste stream.
Better beer, and better for the planet
I really loved that the Pinter arrived in such well thought out packaging, and it looks so good! This is the box that it’s nicely packaged in, opening out into a big fan and then an integrated drawer with all the items in. It would make an amazing present for someone to open.
I hope you found a great gift idea, or if you’re looking for a treat yourself!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas

The Samsung charger is something I could really do with. My battery never lasts all day and sometimes I need to charge it on the go.
It’s so handy to take out and about with you when the phone runs out
Oh wow so many cool Christmas gift ideas here for sure, the keyboard looks good and the Samsung charger is a must.
Most people think the keyboard is weird but I find it so good

I love the Philips hue lights around the house, super fun at Halloween!
These are all great suggestions for gifts. I love the sound of the diffuser, I’d love one like that for my home.
I love having a smelly home!!!!
What a great selection of gift ideas. I always struggle to think of ideas for the males in my life so now I have some fantastic inspiration. Although personally I quite like the small hoover for clearing up my kids’ crumbs!!
Thank you very much!
