Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

Saturday 29th July 2017 – Tylers 13th Birthday

Happy 13th Birthday Tyler, how did you become that old, it’s super scary to think you have been with us for 13 years, and that you are growing up so quickly.

The morning started with an abrupt wake up call, and 3 excited children jumping up onto the bed!!

Three children in pyjamas sit on a bed, smiling and hugging each other. The cosy room, with a wardrobe and fan in the background, captures the joy of week 33—a perfect moment for the weekend in pictures. Three children sit together on a bed, smiling and talking during their weekend in pictures. One child in the middle holds a sheet of paper and has an arm round the child on the right. They all appear happy and relaxed in a cosy bedroom.

Large gold balloons shaped like the number 13 stand beside a wall adorned with blue triangular bunting reading "Happy 13th Birthday Tyler"—a festive highlight from our Week 33 weekend in pictures.

Lily took  hold of my camera….aren’t they super lucky to have this as their Mum!!

A woman with long brown hair sits on a sofa and pulls a puckered face. Behind her, a wall sign reads “Today so amazing yesterday gets jealous.” It’s a candid moment from week 33, captured for our weekend in pictures series.

We were sent some yummy drinks by *Shloer, and I also spotted them on offer in Sainsburys, so grabbed some more! They’re lovely drinks to have for a party, and both adults and kids loved them.

A birthday set-up with a large gold 13 balloon, drinks, a cake with cherries, biscuits, chocolate sticks, and a tray of chocolates captures the weekend in pictures. Blue Happy Birthday bunting hangs on the wall.

Enjoyed with my Mums legendary trifle!!  This has been passed down from generations, so I’m going to have to learn how to make it. It tastes AMAZING!

A table displays six bottles of Shloer drinks, a trifle topped with cream and cherries, and chocolate-covered cakes spelling out HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Gold balloons hang in the background—just one highlight from our weekend in pictures, Week 33.

Spot the pink bubbly Shloer? How cool is that?! You can have non alcohol drink that is bubbly, and a cork to pop! Great for the kids, or people who don’t drink alcohol, but still want a bubbly drink to celebrate things.

We popped this for everyone to try with the cake cutting.

A person in jeans and a dark shirt holds a bottle of Shloer Celebration non-alcoholic sparkling drink, preparing to open it. Captured for weekend in pictures, the indoor scene features a wooden floor and a chair in the background. A smiling teenage boy holds a lit birthday cake in front of large gold “13” balloons, celebrating his 13th birthday indoors by a window—perfect for capturing memorable pictures on this special weekend.

Really gutted, all Tyler wanted was a few friends over, and a BBQ. Then it rained, and rained, and rained! Kev picked up a very fetching umbrella to stand under whilst cooking!!!

A man grills sausages outside on a barbeque during week 33, holding a pink princess umbrella to shield himself from rain. He stands on a patio near a gas cylinder, dressed in casual clothes—a quirky scene for weekend in pictures.

A joyful Me and Mine family of five poses indoors in July, smiling as they celebrate with a 13th birthday banner and a large gold '13' balloon held by the mother and boy.

Kevs Mum, and his Auntie Dian.

Tyler and his friends

Next up with a sleepover with 2 of his friends, who are best friends with the girls too. They pulled out the beds in the girls bedroom to create a huge bed across the room. It works great for sleepovers!

Sunday 23rd July 2017

After a rough night, after Sofia was sick once just before we went to sleep……that’s what you get for eating TOO many sweet stuff and chocolate cake!!! She slept in between me and Kev, and we hardly slept, she did though!!

So off to swimming lessons as everyone was up and feeling fine, then we needed to tick some jobs off. New walking boots for Tyler, and sandals for the girls.

We all were ready to come home and chill. The kids were really tired, so curled up on the sofa to watch a film, and play the Wii. It was good as it left us to get some house jobs done.

One of them was to get the car washed, and protected. We were sent some Hydropel by *Smart Polish Pro which protects the car from lots of different elements like road salt, acid rain, and bird droppings. Our car gets put through lots, and not very well loved. So I think it is well worth giving it a a little look after now. I also like the sound of their Waterless Wash and Wax formula, great way to save on water!

If you read last weekends mention about the Roses…..it looks like this one is turning out to be my special Lilac rose!!!

*Items I was sent to consider mentioning, however all opinions are honest and of my own

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.
