Our weekend in pictures, a little look into what we get up to at the weekends together.
This weekend has been really quiet, we are enjoying just being able to take thing slow, so just what we want and go just where we want!
Saturday 14th January
We had such a lazy morning in bed, it was well needed but I wasn’t going to say ‘No’ when hubby bought breakfast in bed for me!
So later on we headed out to get some jobs done, and then for a walk along the River Hamble. This was a new walk, but we didn’t get too far along it, as we had such a late start! However, I think it links up to The Fairy Tree that we have visited before.
I was so lucky, Coombe Mill picked my Longeat Festival of Light blog post as her favourite blog post for December CountryKids link up, so I won a pair of Rockfish wellies!! Blog post to come about them, as they are so comfy and I have been looking for a good pair of wellies.
Gus love to have a swim, even when it’s freezing cold!
Here is us, I’m trying to get a picture of the Swan who really didn’t seem happy about us being close to him! We quickly moved on after this!!
Capturing the sun setting, I would love to figure out how to picture the sun better than this though.
We had a snuggle up on the sofa together after our walk, and hubby took this photo. He looked over at me and Lily and couldn’t believe how alike we looked!
I went over to my friend’s house tonight with a couple of other girly friends, we had a few drinks and a girly chat! My friend got herself a Lightbox, these are all over Instagram and finally I could add it to my feed too!
Sunday 15th January 2017
I had a super late night last night, and up early for the girls swimming, we thought we best have a productive day and get some housework done, and the girls homework.
This is a rubbish picture, but I had to capture this moment. My parents popped over for a cuppa, and Lily was chatting away to Grandma about her game on her tablet! Grandma had no clue what she was talking about, but she listened, smiled and let Lily chat away!
Thank you cards written, now just need to get them to the people!
Weekend over! January is really quiet, and lots of family time, but I am really enjoying just being able to relax and do just what we want!
