When I was offered the chance to try out the Superfresco Easy range of paste the wall wallpaper I jumped at the chance as I had the perfect room to try it out on!
That said, it WAS one of the hardest rooms to wallpaper, the hall stairs and landing!
I wanted wallpaper on the large outside wall, this is over the stairs and a tricky area to do.
Our hallway looked like this before so was in great need of a update.
The idea of paste the wall wallpaper sounded very appealing to make hubby’s job easier, and he needs all the help he can get.
They have a large range of patterns to choose from on their website and is reasonably priced as well.
I chose the Superfresco Easy Nottingham in brown which they also offer in two different variations.
You can see all the different colouring to this wallpaper, each way you look it shows a different colour and tone to the colours. Sometimes the tree’s look silver, mink colour, brown but I love this!
It is really reflective which is great for our hallway as it isn’t the biggest of rooms so it bounces the light off and brightens up the room.
The quality of the wallpaper is fantastic. It has a small embossed area but it is a modern style that isn’t very noticeable. The trees are shiny and smooth so it gives it a multi-textured feeling and look.
Application of this wallpaper was so easy, mess free and quick.
We used a wallpaper table still but only to cut the wallpaper but you could get away with not using one if you don’t have one. This first off saves you money!
We measured out the space on the wall so we knew what area to cover with paste.
Pasted up the area
Then stick the cut piece of wallpaper on the wall.
Once it has been brushed out and smoothed out then it is done!
We have never used paste the wall wallpaper but we were very surprised. I thought that it might not stick to the wall as well because the paste slightly soaks into the wall. Compared to the amount of paste you put on the wallpaper normally it doesn’t seem as much.
It is though! It sticks well, easy to smooth out and looks great.
I love the fact that it is so mess free, you haven’t got flaps of wallpaper that are covered in paste sticking to everything as your cutting it against the wall. There are no splats of paste going on everything!
You use less paste as you’re not covering a whole piece of wallpaper and then cutting loads off when you cut around the walls.
We are completely sold on the Superfresco Easy paste the wall wallpaper and will be happily buying more in the future.
Take a look at this video which shows you just how quick and easy it is!
