Each year I have joined in with the Fareham and Gosport twin club Easter egg hunt, we have been going to it since the twins were little babies. It is lovely to still meet up with everyone as we don’t attend the weekly sessions anymore and see how all the little ones have grown up.
We have learned from experience not to use real eggs in public places as they never stay there ready for our groups children to find them! So the kids had to find 10 little paper eggs that were hidden around the forest.
I love watching them run off to find them all and then eagerly run back to claim their prize chocolate egg!
We had 4 hours of egg hunting, playing with friends and picnics in the sunshine. Everyone happy!

Aaah! That’s so lovely! It’s really nice that there’s a fun, active twins club nearby to you!! I looked for one here, when I was pregnant with the boys, but one was too far away and the other had disbanded — such a shame. It’s fab that you’re still going, even though the girls are older.

It was my lifeline when they were tiny, some weeks I would struggle to make it out but I ALWAYS would go to twin club each week, I had my friends and support there and felt ‘safe’. That’s such a shame that you didn’t have one near you, ours has been struggling over the past couple of years to gain new members, even though there are even more twins around than usual.
Looks like a great place for an Easter egg hunt,
It is a great place, lots of hidden holes and trees to hide the eggs around!
