A few weeks ago I showed you what we had been up to with the bathroom renovation and how far we had got.

I had shown you my tiling skills, well it may have been good tiling but it didn’t stay there!

They got ripped down along with the flowery wallpaper and brown carpet!

It is a great transformation and we are over the moon with it.

It was good fun working with hubby to tile the whole room and a great achievement!

We moved the heated towel rail as it was on the right hand side wall and

you would burn your leg when you were sat on the loo!

Bathroom renovation on a budget run down of costs…….. scroll down for more pictures

My bathroom was done on a budget, we weren’t planning on getting the whole bathroom done as I had done some research and read how much does a new bathroom cost on the Bella Bathrooms blog.

Then added in some details

The pots and jars were from Dunelm, as soon as I saw them I knew they would be the perfect colour

Light was from B&Q and the shimmery bath mat from BHS

  1. Wow! What a great transformation! Those discounts are impressive.

  2. You got quite incredible results given how limited you folks were in terms of your overall bathroom renovation budget. We are also renovating our bathroom on quite a limited budget. Therefore we have obviously taken a great deal of inspiration from your success story. So, thanks for that!

  9. Oh my gosh, can’t believe how well you’ve done to swindle down the price. I’m seriously impressed! Amazing job 🙂 Karen x

So very impressed with how frugal you have been! Congrats on a great job. It’s barely recognisable!

Gosh, what a transformation! And on a budget – I’m amazed at the sink and pedestal for £3!!

  12. How fantastic!! Can’t believe you did it all for such little budget, it just shows you don’t always need massive budgets to makeover a bathroom. Well done! #loveyourhome
