Are you looking for a Briiv 2 Pro review? I’ve been using Briiv air purifiers for a couple of years now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. I have now had the chance to try out the new Briiv 2 Pro, which has more features that make it even better. The Briiv air purifier is such a powerful plant-powered air purifier.
Why Do I Love The Briiv Air Purifier?
Thanks to the original Briiv air purifier, I’ve had clean air in my living room for the past couple of years now. It’s helped to keep the dog smells down, and it’s brilliant after a teenager’s sleepover in there! I’ve had it down, functioning on a low speed all the time, and when needed, I have turned it up, and it quickly clears the smells of the room. So, when Briiv contacted me to let me know there was a new upgraded version of the Briiv air purifier, I was happy to welcome the new Briiv 2 Pro into my home!
I decided to place the new Briiv Pro in the kitchen, as your kitchen produces lots of smells from cooking. We also all spend a lot of time in this room, so I wanted to create a clean air zone here. New Functions Of The Briiv 2 Pro Air Purifier
What is different about the new Briiv 2 Pro from my original Briiv? The Briiv 2 Pro can clean a 4x4m² space in just 21 minutes and can be linked to additional units for larger spaces. They can work together with AI detection and using the sensors they can monitor PM2.5, PM10, VOC’s, Carbon Dioxide levels in the room.
So, all of these things can work together to keep the air within the room cleaner, and as they are more intelligent, they can automatically activate when they feel they need to.
Low Running Costs
I have never worried about the running costs of the Briiv air purifier. Even though the Briiv 2 Pro air purifier has more features than before, it’s still really cheap to run. Using 5W power and USB, it’s still only 0.02p to run it for 6 hours daily.
The Briiv 2 Pro App Features
I found it interesting to use the free Briiv app to control and monitor the Briiv 2 Pro unit. The sensors in the Briiv monitor the air quality and report it back into the app. The app stores the information for you, which I have found interesting to look back over.
It can then monitor the air quality, sending you real-time alerts and using the sensors to detect when the room needs more air purification.
Link Up Multiple Air Purifiers
You can now link multiple Briiv air purifiers, which you can use for larger spaces. They will work together to clean the air in the whole room and maintain the air quality. Take a look at the Briiv website to see how many you would need in each space.
Filters
The Briiv 2 Pro still uses the same three sustainable filters, with a naturally occurring, sustainably sourced Yorkshire Moss Filter, which lasts 12 months and catches pollen and allergens such as pet dander. The coconut Fibre Filter lasts 12 months and will catch dirt, dust and smoke. The very last Nano Matrix filter catches harmful fine particulates, and this filter lasts 3 months.

Fragrance
I love the new addition of the fragrance diffuser stick. You can add essential oils to the stick, and once placed back into the Briiv 2 Pro, it will fill the room with your chosen fragrance. This saves another item on the side, as you can clean your air and make it smell lovely at the same time.

It’s lovely to know that this is a British-made product built in Yorkshire, UK. They offer a 2-year guarantee and plant a tree for every product they sell. They want to offer products that are long-lasting and durable while maintaining the performance of the product.
The packaging and housing of the unit are biodegradable. They use 90% less plastic than a conventional air filter and 80.57% less CO2 over the life of the device than any other purifier, showing they have an environmental commitment while producing good-quality products.

Controlling the Briiv 2 Pro
I do find the ‘buttons’ a little difficult to control. They are touch-sensitive on the front of the unit, and they either do not quite register that I’ve touched them or are delayed, but this is my only negative about the Briiv units.
I like that you can now control the Briiv air purifier using the free Briiv app. You can control the speed of the unit, set up a schedule for each unit you have, and view the graph to see if you need to turn on the Briiv to clean the room it’s in. I think I will end up just using this app to control the Briiv.
The Briiv 2 Pro can even be controlled by Alexa to make it even easier to turn on.
Conclusion
I really enjoy having an air purifier within my home, and even though I was still happy with my original Briiv, I’m really pleased with the new features of the Briiv 2 Pro, as I think it’s just added to the great product it already was. It’s now more user-friendly with the app, and by linking them together, they can work together to keep your home clean and healthy. I can see why the Briiv 2 Pro has already been named in Stylist’s 9 Air Purifiers Worth Investing In and National Geographic’s Best Air Purifiers.
