When it comes to safety and keeping our children safe, I think you can safely say that every parents tries their best to keep their child safe.

When it comes to blinds I have been so paranoid about them, to the point I haven’t purchased one for my kids bedrooms. However I love the fact that blinds can shut out so much light in the summer nights and light mornings.

Make it safe!

  • Install blinds that do not have a cord, particularly in a child’s bedroom
  • Do not place a child’s cot, bed, playpen or highchair near a window
  • Pull cords on curtains and blinds should be kept short and kept out of reach
  • Tie up the cords or use one of the many cleats, cord tidies, clips or ties that are available
  • Do not hang toys or objects that could be a hazard on the cot or bed
  • Don’t hang drawstring bags where a small child could get their head through the loop of the drawstring.

Order Blinds have a great range of cordless blinds, they have a spring loaded system, so no cord involved which makes it perfect for kids bedrooms.

They have a large choice of 28 designs and colours to choose from, with the option to add decorative pulls.

As my son has a new raised bed which is up against the window I never was going to have any type of cord, so this cordless blind is perfect his new room. My son has chosen a baby blue cordless blind for his new bedroom. He loves to have his room as dark as possible so the blackout fabric that the cordless blind is made from is really effective.

The cordless blinds come made to measure, just follow the instructions on the website on how to take your measurements and input them into the forms online. The prices start from £31 and depending on the size of the cordless blind it will determine the price you pay.

Delivery was really quick and the cordless blind arrived well packaged. It was easy to install and it is easy to use.

We are really pleased with the quality and function of this blind, I would love to purchase one for my twins bedroom but there is a maximum size 200cm width and 210cm drop, and their window is much wider than this.

Please take a look at this range of cordless blinds if you are considering installing a blind in your child’s room, safety is so important.
