I’m sharing with you our Christmas Hallway decorations this year. I’ve worked with We R Christmas, an online Christmas store where you can purchase all your Christmas decorations. We completed our new hallway this year, so it deserved some fresh new coordinating Christmas decorations that finish it off perfectly this Christmas.

How To Decorate Your Christmas Hallway

Your hallway is the first place people step into when they visit your home, so I love to make it feel warm and welcoming. When the family arrives for Christmas, they step straight into Christmas, and it feels warm and homely. I am going to show you the items I’ve added to our Christmas hallway and what I think of them, too.

Gold and Cream Prelit Christmas Garland – £37.99

I have placed two garlands above our hallway cupboards. These are 9ft in length and prelit with 40 warm white lights on each. The lights are wrapped around and already placed into the garland. So all you need to do is take them out of the box, work your way through each branch to fluff them up and straighten the tips, and you’re ready to place them where you want. These work great for cozy fireplaces, but I have placed them on top of the cupboards.

A white wardrobe with four doors stands next to open shelves holding wicker baskets. The top of the wardrobe features green garland, gold ornaments, and Gold Christmas Decorations, adding festive charm to your space.

I had two garlands, one up the other end by the door and a separate one down this end. This cascades down the units. I have popped a little blue tack to keep them tucked in, but it’s nicely bunching up at the top, which keeps it all in place. These are 9 feet in length, so they look lovely grouped together to create a fuller look. Even just stretched out 9 feet, they still give off a lovely, thick look.

A hallway adorned with cream Christmas hallway decorations features garlands and lights on cupboards and a mirror, a small Christmas tree by the door, woven storage baskets on white shelves, and a clock above the entrance.

The prelit lights are controlled with 3 AA batteries and a 6-hour on/18-hour off timer. Once you’ve set up the timing, they will just turn on and off at your desired times, and you won’t have to try to get them to turn on and off. So, the fact that these are up and out of the way doesn’t matter.

You can also choose to have them twinkling, static or any of the 8 modes to pick from!

Christmas Garland Arch – £24.99

I spotted the co ordinating 3ft garland arch that I thought would fit perfectly over my long hallway mirror. The website shows it being used over a corner of a fireplace or on the fireplace, but it worked really well on my mirror.

A gold-framed mirror with evergreen garland, white flowers, and fairy lights on top hangs on a grey wall—perfect for elegant gold Christmas decorations. The mirror reflects a white cupboard and wicker baskets, while a potted plant sits nearby on the wooden floor.

Again, this is prelit with 20 warm white lights that are already installed into the branches, so just a quick fluff up, and it was ready to install on my mirror. I attached it with some blue tac and put the weight onto the mirror. There is a little hook in the middle at the back, so you can also attach it with a string, ribbon, or a hook on the wall.

Two red Panasonic AA batteries in an open black battery compartment are attached to artificial green pine branches, likely part of Christmas hallway decorations, next to a light-coloured wall.

It is powered by two AA batteries in a little pack that can be hidden nicely behind the garland. However, this doesn’t have any modes or timers. A little switch on the end turns it on and off each time.

A hallway adorned with Christmas hall decorations, featuring a lit tree by the front door and a large oval mirror topped with a garland of greenery, cream and gold Christmas decorations, and lights. A potted plant rests on the bench below.

I was pleased with how this turned out; it tied the Christmas hallway decorations together nicely.

6.5ft Pencil Christmas Tree – £89.99

I have always had a little Christmas tree in the corner of the hallway, but it’s always been a bit wide and not tall enough. This 6.5-foot pencil Christmas tree works perfectly in the space by the door. It’s tall enough to fit the space, but not too wide that it causes a problem with the walkways or doors.

A hallway adorned with Christmas Hallway Decorations features a tall, lit tree near the door, garlands with gold Christmas decorations around the doorway and mirror, a wall clock, potted plants, and a bench under the mirror.

This would work well in many homes. Its height of 6.5ft makes it a really standout tree, but it only has a diameter of 64cm, so it’s really compact. It would work well in corners of homes and wouldn’t get lost.

It is prelit with 180 warm white lights, which are pre-wrapped around the tree. It arrives in three sections, the stand and instructions on how to put it together.

Artificial Christmas tree branches, a metal stand in a plastic bag, and an instruction sheet with a tree diagram are laid out on a light-coloured tiled floor, perfect for assembling elegant Cream Christmas Decorations.

Each section is labelled with a letter, so you know which one to start with. However, this comes off the tree after the first use, so remember for next year!

The bottom section has the power cable and plugs on; this has a good cable length.

Remove the plastic caps on the bottom of the spike, place the bottom section into the stand, and tighten it all off. Then, work your way through the tree, connecting the light connectors on each section. Then, you’re ready to switch the tree on at the mains.

This is the tree lit up; it hasn’t been fluffed up at all, just straight out of the box.  With every Christmas tree, you must always work your way through each branch, fluffing it up, straightening out the branches and moving them into place to create a much fuller-looking Christmas tree.

As you can see, it looks much better and is now a really attractive Christmas tree. Now comes the fun part of decorating the tree, if you’re looking for a guide on how to decorate a Christmas tree take a look at the We R Christmas guide.

I am really pleased with this tree. It’s such a convenient shape for where I’ve put it. It looks really nice and is really good value as well. I love being able to just get it out of the box and put it together without wrapping it in lights. Having the prelit lights also hides these cables much better.

Delivery from We Love Christmas

We Love Christmas offers free standard delivery on orders over £75; if they’re under £75, it’s £3.99. The order arrived in a lovely Christmas-themed box!

I’ve been really pleased with the quality and price of these items from We R Christmas. It’s hard to find full garlands that look nice, and the colour choices work really well in my Christmas hallway. We R Christmas has a wide range of decorations to pick from, so I am sure you’ll find something that works for your home easily.

Merry Christmas
