Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

Just a bunch of normal family life pictures.

It’s my birthday!! The night before my parents popped over to see me and Lily had been busy making a cake for me too.

Six people of varying ages sit together on outdoor patio sofas, smiling at the camera. Wrapped in blankets and surrounded by flowers, they celebrate a birthday weekend in pictures, with a brick house and glass doors in the background.

They numbers were sparklers! It was VERY yummy!  A sponge cake topped with strawberries and icing sugar sits on a white plate. Two candles shaped as the numbers 3 and 4 mark a Birthday celebration. A festive mug in the background adds to this cheerful Weekend In Pictures scene.

Good Morning Mummy! They had all picked their cards and picked my favourite sweets too!  Three smiling children in pyjamas sit on a bed, holding handmade cards and birthday presents. An adult hand offers a pink envelope addressed to Stephane. The background features a wardrobe with sliding doors—a true Weekend In Pictures moment.

I wanted to visit a sunflower field and what better day to visit it than on my birthday!  A woman stands smiling in a sunflower field with three children, two girls and a boy, all wearing casual clothes, celebrating a birthday surrounded by tall, blooming sunflowers under a cloudy sky—a perfect weekend in pictures. A large field of flowering sunflowers with bright yellow petals and green leaves stretches into the distance under a cloudy sky, bordered by dark green trees—a perfect scene to capture during a weekend in pictures or celebrate a birthday outdoors.

We stopped off at The Fisherman’s Haunt for a lunch. Highly recommend it, the food was nice, they were very friendly and welcoming.

Three children sit around a coffee table playing Scrabble during a cosy Weekend In Pictures. Two girls and one boy focus on their letter tiles in a well-lit room with large windows, surrounded by plants and papers.

And when the lady behind the bar found out it was my birthday she gave me a little bottle of Prosecco!  A hand holds a small bottle of La Tordera Prosecco DOC Treviso, with an orange foil top and black label—perfect for a Birthday toast or capturing memories from a Weekend In Pictures, indoors with a blurred background.

The rest of the day was a chilled day and my friends popped over to give me some lovely presents and I was very spoilt.

Four adults sit closely together on a sofa, smiling at the camera during a birthday celebration. Behind them are framed inspirational quotes and artwork, creating a cosy living room vibe in this Weekend In Pictures moment.

Today was an exciting day! My friend took me to London for the day to see a West End show for my birthday.

I’ve never seen a West End show before! We booked to see Chicago by visiting the TXTS booth in Leicester Square and purchased on the day tickets. Well worth doing and they were about 45% cheaper.

A dimly lit theatre stage with a glowing golden frame sets the mood for a special birthday performance. The curtain is down, a single chair and music stand rest on the left, whilst ornate theatre balconies line the right.

The theatre was much smaller than the one I normally visit, but it was nice as it felt more intimate and you could see the actors faces well. The show was brilliant and we really enjoyed it.

We headed off to Covent Garden to see what street performers were there, then off for something to eat.
A large crowd is gathered in an open square with cobblestone pavement, surrounded by historic buildings. On this festive weekend in pictures, people enjoy a street performer's show—some sit on the ground whilst others stand and watch.

It was a lovely day and nice to spend some time with my friend without kiddies about!

Kev was looking after the kids today, he had to agility with them all! We haven’t been to agility for weeks due to us not being able to make it and the hot weather and it being cancelled. So Tyler was so happy to be back, Gus was too! It was also the bloke who runs it 50th birthday, so cake was included too!

Sunday 26th August 2018

I needed to chilled day after doing lots of walking the day before, my back was rather sore. It was also pouring with rain ALL day long.

Tyler got making a yummy rhubarb and apple crumble using the rhubarb from the sunflower farm.

Board game kind of day! The girls wanted to attempt to try the full Monopoly game, they soon got bored though!

She loves this little guy so much!

Thanks to Kev for my favourite dinner!

Hope you had a lovely bank holiday weekend, one more week and then the kids go back to school which is scary as it’s gone so quickly.

I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.
